Unique Threading Salon is finished & open. The construction of their newest of 3 salons. I did the interior design layout for construction .
The interior layout comprises the stylist areas , seating area , products booth , the reception desk, personal client rooms and storage.
Special thanks to Ajri from Av-odza construction, he did a great job of implementing the design. He did all the interior finishes and construction from start to finish. What a polished and professional looking outcome.
The salon is location is 25 w 23rd street in Manhattan. Most of the designs, drawings and layouts were done in my studio in New Jersey. I did make a few visits to the property to take measurements and pictures & meet with the clients about what their vision was.
The custom built curved mirrors were made by Peter Boreland of Arete cabinetry. The integrated LED lighting detail was a nice touch. Peter is a craftsman who has a shop out in Clinton New Jersey. He does fine custom cabinetry and millwork. I recommend his work highly. He does a lot of residential high end kitchens. We've worked together before on a project in Connecticut and on a few residences in New jersey. See the photos for his excellent craftsmanship.
The clients chose black walnut for trim in the space , its all about the look , contemporary, contrasting , very clean and professional.
